Ciel is a leading international group operating across Africa and Asia, with over 33,000 employees in more than 10 emerging markets. The brand underwent a visual refresh to reflect its scale, diversity, and global outlook—establishing a cohesive identity aligned with its contemporary ambitions and evolving international presence.
Problem
As Ciel continued to grow across emerging markets, its existing visual identity no longer reflected the group’s ambition, scale, or diversity. The brand needed a refreshed design system that could unify its presence across sectors and geographies, enhance recognition, and support more dynamic, future-facing communications.
Solution
The brand refresh led to the creation of a comprehensive visual ecosystem, including multiple tailored guidelines for Ciel’s diverse sectors and entities. Each guide ensures consistency while allowing flexibility across applications. Artificial Intelligence was also used to generate conceptual imagery, bringing abstract brand values to life and enriching the overall visual storytelling.
